Announcements

The BOC Life 11th Golden Age Expo and Summit (GAES) was successfully held from 30 July to 1 August 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

Themed “Golden Age+ Connect．Collaborate．Co-innovate", GAES2026 served as a co-create platform for golden agers and all sectors. Featuring over 200 booths showcasing the latest smart ageing technologies, innovative products, cutting-edge technologies, and transformative services from around the world. This year's event has attracted more than 55,000 visitors, including policymakers, corporates, NGOs, and the general public.

The event also brings together influential thinkers and leaders from business, government, academia, social organisations, and the digital industry to share innovative ideas and experiences on ageing-related issues. This aims to tackle challenges such as population ageing and workforce shortages, lead Hong Kong’s transformation into Asia’s Smart Ageing City, and unlock limitless business opportunities.

This year, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has showcased four projects across various areas, to facilitate different aspects of life and address the challenges of population ageing in the digital era.
