InnoEX, jointly organised by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau (ITIB) of the Hong Kong SAR Government and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), was successfully held on 13-16 April 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The fair brought together leading global I&T solutions, artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, and cutting-edge electronic products. To align with the National 15th Five-Year Plan and the I&T development directions outlined in the Government’s latest Budget, the event featured a series of forums, seminars, business-matching sessions, and networking events. These activities attracted over 88,000 buyers from 155 countries and regions, primarily from the Chinese Mainland, Japan, India, the United States, and Korea, to explore new collaboration and business opportunities.
This year’s InnoEX, themed “Innovate • Automate • Elevate”, covers five key areas: AI+, Robotics, the Low-altitude Economy, Property Technology and Retail Technology. The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) booth has three start-up teams participating in the event, one of which is also hosting a dedicated booth within the newly launched “RoboPark.” This new zone brought together technology companies from Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and overseas, to showcase more than 100 robots across a wide range of application scenarios, covering “Commercial & Industrial”, “Health & Living”, as well as “Entertainment & Social”.
