The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) achieved remarkable success at the 77th International Trade Fair “Ideas – Inventions – New Products” (iENA) held in Nuremberg, Germany. These included 2 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals, and 1 Bronze Medal. The award-winning projects were contributed by research teams from the Faculties of Medicine, Engineering and Science, covering a wide range of disciplines. This demonstrates the University’s outstanding performance in research and innovation on the global stage.

About the International Trade Fair “Ideas – Inventions – New Products (iENA)
The iENA Nuremberg – International Trade Fair "Ideas – Inventions – New Products" – was recognized as one of the world's leading platforms for showcasing inventions and innovations. As a professional marketplace for ideas, it served as the leading trade fair for networking and excellent opportunities for inventors and representatives of trade and industry. The world of invention eagerly awaited this year's iENA, which became the event where inventions from around the globe were presented to the public for the very first time, celebrating their world premiere at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. The event aimed to highlight groundbreaking inventions, facilitate commercialization partnerships, and cultivate connections with investors, manufacturers, and distributors. The 2025 edition, held from November 1 to 3, featured over 800 inventions and product innovations from 37 countries and regions, providing an important forum for independent inventors to connect with licensees and exploiters worldwide.
