From 20 July to 24 July 2026, the HATCH x MagIC Talent Development Programme was held at InnoPort, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The talent development programme aims to nurture local youth by providing hands-on training and mentorship in microbiome research and life sciences. It is dedicated to inspiring a new generation of leaders who will shape the future of industry, academia, and research (產學研) in Hong Kong.
In the one-week program, a series of workshops and practical activities were designed to provide an in-depth understanding of issues such as mental health, community participation, and special learning needs (SEN) to a group of young talents.
