On 21 August 2026, CUHK InnoPort hosted “初創聚一聚 (Startup Meetup) @ InnoPort”, a networking evening for startup founders, team members, and aspiring entrepreneurs. The event gathered representatives from over 20 companies across diverse sectors, fostering peer-to-peer exchange and strengthening the University’s startup community and entrepreneurial culture.

The session opened with a round of self-introductions, during which several founders presented concise overviews of their ventures and shared key milestones from their entrepreneurial journeys.

Participants engaged in substantive discussions on topics including fundraising strategies, go-to-market approaches, product development, and scaling challenges, facilitating the exchange of practical insights and industry know-how.

The atmosphere was energetic, with attendees actively contributing to conversations and forming new professional connections in a relaxed environment. This event served as a practical demonstration of knowledge transfer, enabling experienced founders to share tacit knowledge and real-world lessons with emerging entrepreneurs, thereby bridging academic research and commercial application.
