The Final Pitch cum Award Ceremony of the Vice Chancellor’s Cup of Student Entrepreneurship (VCCE) 2025–26 was successfully held on 28 April 2026, celebrating the creativity, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) students.

The ceremony was officiated by Professor Dennis Lo Yuk-ming, Vice-Chancellor and President of CUHK, who addressed the audience with encouraging remarks that underscored the importance of innovation and perseverance, setting an inspiring tone for the event.

This year’s competition attracted 63 submissions from 206 students across all faculties, offering a wealth of innovative, cross-disciplinary ideas with strong potential. Following the selection round, 14 finalist teams advanced to the final pitch, where they presented their ventures before a distinguished panel. After the final pitch, three outstanding project teams emerged as award winners, recognized for their exceptional performance and entrepreneurial vision.

Jointly organized by the Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) and the Center for Entrepreneurship (CfE), the VCCE has, for nearly two decades, served as a distinguished platform nurturing entrepreneurial spirit and cross-disciplinary collaboration at CUHK. Through thoughtfully designed activities, the competition not only deepens students’ understanding of entrepreneurship but also challenges their creativity and resilience as they embark on their entrepreneurial journeys.

This year’s edition once again highlighted the wealth of innovative ideas emerging from CUHK, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all awardees for their remarkable achievements.
