About Asia Exhibition of Innovations and Inventions Hong Kong (AEII)

The Asia Exhibition of Innovations and Inventions Hong Kong (AEII) is the Asia's annual exhibition cum competition exclusively devoted to innovations and inventions from Asia to be hosted in Hong Kong, by partnering with Palexpo, Geneva, organizer of the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva. Under the innovation-driven development strategy by the Government, Hong Kong aimes to enhance its transformation into a knowledge-based economy, by taking the city's strength as an innovation and technology hub in the Asia-Pacific region as well as its key role in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

WHO can apply?*

• The Person-In-Charge (PIC) must be full time staff at CUHK holding positions within professoriate or research academic ranks


• Preference will be given to applicants using CUHK Technology


• Start-ups with a focus on technologies including but not limited to

  6) Smart Industry - Mechanics - Agriculture - Processing - Machinery Tools - Materials

WHY to exhibit?

• Show your invention, new product or new technique, your capabilities, your activities and your services to the potential investors and buyers

Submission Materials for AEII 2026 (Applicable for CUHK nomination)^#

• Entry Form (For CUHK nomination): CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD (Please upload the completed excel with all supporting documents via online application form no later than May 29, 2026.)

• Soft copy of CUHK patent/ application receipt (For CUHK nomination)

• Photo of Exhibit (Max 3 pcs, at least 300 dpi, jpg/png/tif file)

• Scanned copy of Certificate of Incoporation (CI) under the Companies Ordinance

Important Note

1) KTO will cover the costs of registration, booth, and entry passes

2) Local transportation and logistics will NOT be provided

3) Project teams are required to maintain a physical presence at their designated booths throughout the duration of the event. The attendance records will be retained by the Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) and may serve as a reference for the screening and selection of teams in future KT events.

4) Additional works on poster development and event preparation will be needed prior to physical presentation at HKCEC in Nov 2026

5) The final selection of teams will be subject to an internal review by the KTO vetting committee and acceptance by the main organizer

6) All applications should be submitted to Knowledge Transfer Events Management Team, Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO). If no record of information submission is received, KTO reserves the right to exclude the project from the CUHK pavilion and promotional activities.
