What if there were a way to bring your research outcomes from the lab directly into the classroom – inspiring primary and secondary school students and shaping future-ready schools?

Co-hosting with Fullness Social Enterprise Society – Social Entrepreneurship School Education, KTO is launching Campus Futures: Co-creating with Social Innovation. This initiative connects CUHK professor-led social innovation projects with primary and secondary schools to bring innovative solutions into classrooms, supporting personal growth, STEM learning, and holistic education. It also aims to turn CUHK research into real-world impact for students, teachers, and communities. We are pleased to invite proposals for this initiative by 12 December 2025.

Shortlisted applications will be matched with schools based on the following thematic focus areas:

  • Well-being Campus (幸福校園)
  • Technology for Good Campus (科技向善校園)
  • Green Campus (綠色校園)
  • Inclusive & Caring Campus (友善校園)

Eligibility

Project Leaders & Co-leaders:

  • Full-time CUHK staff on professoriate/research academic ranks
  • Other teaching staff may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Team Members:

  • CUHK staff (e.g. Postdoctoral Fellows, Research Assistants)
  • CUHK students
  • Non-CUHK members

Projects should be research-based initiatives addressing education, youth development, or school-community engagement.

  • 3 Nov – 12 Dec 2025: Call for Proposals and Stakeholder Engagement Events
  • Dec 2025 – Jan 2026: Matching Panel (Pairing CUHK projects with school needs)
  • By 15 Jan 2026: Announcement of Shortlisted Applications
  • Jan 2026: Coaching Sessions
  • 6 Feb 2026: Campus Future Day

Proposal Submission

Interested parties should submit a 2-page concept paper or 5-slide presentation deck via this link by 12 December 2025. The proposal should outline your proposed initiative and how it aligns with one or more of the four thematic focus areas.
