We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming event, Social Enterprise World Forum 2025 (SEWF25) Fringe Day Event - PLANET in Practice: Sustainability Through CUHK Research, Humanities, and Green Innovation, convening stakeholders from Hong Kong and Taiwan, spanning academia, social enterprises, public organisations, and non-profits to exchange insights, explore opportunities, and build cross-sector partnerships for creating social impact.

This session features CUHK academics who have transformed academic knowledge into public engagement and social innovation — from salt-tolerant soybeans and green enzyme technologies to cultural reflections on waste. Joining them are Taiwan-based social innovators who will share their impactful work in design and agriculture to advance environmental sustainability. Aligned with the SEWF25 theme – PLANET, this cross-disciplinary dialogue explores how sustainability can emerge at the intersection of biotechnology, cultural studies, and eco-social entrepreneurship, inspiring new collaborations across academia, social enterprises, and the green economy.
