How can we turn the challenges of an ageing population into opportunities for innovation and impact?
We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming workshop, Ageing Happily, Gracefully and Peacefully – Translating Research into Silver Community Impact, which aims to inspire CUHK members to explore social innovation ideas for ageing-related challenges by leveraging their expertise.
We are honoured to have Mr Timothy Ma, an expert in the social innovation sector with extensive experience in elderly services, and Prof Suzanne Lo from The Nethersole School of Nursing, who founded Hayley Hand Care to provide home-based massage services for stroke patients (many of whom are elderly), as our guest speakers. Together, they will share their insights on how social innovation can address the complexities of ageing, from physical health and emotional well-being to social connectivity and daily living challenges.
